Change of Plans

I was looking back through some previous posts today and came across the one about planning to redecorate my son's former room into a masculine guest room.  Seeems every time I tried to get it done something got in my way.  I was actually getting a little frustrated.  However in the back of my mind I keep thinking, as I always do, things happen for reasons.  Sure enough, we recently learned we are to be grandparents for the first time!  So instead of a masculine guest room with a 1970's feel I am now planning a boy focused room.

Looks like it is time to start a new Pinterest Board entitled "Inspiration - Boys Room".

Artwork for my Farmhouse Bedroom

I have been hitting the antique stores pretty often lately searching for artwork for my bedroom.  We are going from Tuscan decor to Farmhouse.  I found the signed print below at Antiques & Treasures Shop.

The original was done by Janice Beck and this print is 2/10.

Thrifting Find

Found these great fry baskets at the thrift store today.  Large one was $1.50, small was $1.00.  I'm going to take the handles off and use them as storage baskets in my bathroom. 

Antiquing Find

I was antiquing this week and found this sweet little wagon made from a coke crate, wheels and pieces of wood. 

I inherited a beautiful family sleigh bed and am redecorating the master bedroom to accomodate.  This chest of drawers I found at a local antique store looks like it will blend well.  More a Tuscan look than we have now actually.

SPRING

If you have been following me on Facebook and Twitter you know I've been reinventing my Tuscan living room.  From wrought iron, gold and fruit to a fresh  palette of  turquoise, coral and white.  Below is a preview of two projects I've worked on.
